Cross chain Bridge
Corridor's bridge uses βlock-and-mintβ approach to bridge from Bitcoin to EVM compatible blockchains; βburn-and-unlockβ approach is used for bridging back from EVM to Bitcoin.
To utilize a cross-chain bridge, a user is required to deposit tokens into a secure lock-up mechanism on the Bitcoin Layer 1 (L1) blockchain. Following this action, the bridge operates by creating and issuing an equivalent amount of tokens on the Bitcoin Layer 2 (L2) blockchain. Additionally, this system is designed to support seamless integration with other blockchains that are compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), thus enabling the tokens to function across multiple blockchain platforms. By doing so, the bridge facilitates a broader interoperability whereby assets from the Bitcoin network can interact with a variety of decentralized applications and services within the larger blockchain ecosystem.
Cross chain AMM Swap
Constructed upon the foundational infrastructure provided by the cross-chain bridge, the Cross-chain Automated Market Maker (AMM) Swap feature enables the exchange of a diverse range of token standards, such as BRC20, CBRC20, Tap, and the Runes protocol. In essence, the cross-chain swap mechanism is designed to facilitate the trading of tokens between the Layer 2 (L2) of the Bitcoin blockchain and other supported networks.
This feature ensures that users can seamlessly swap their holdings between these various tokens without the need for a centralized intermediary. By employing liquidity pools, it allows for fluid token trades across different blockchain ecosystems, thus enhancing the versatility and accessibility of assets within the decentralized finance (DeFi) space. Users benefit from the convenience of a wider market access and the option to interact with multiple tokens, all within the integrated environment of the Bitcoin L2 blockchain network.
Indexer API services
Our conviction is that the indexer stands as the cornerstone component within the ecosystem of Bitcoin inscriptions. To support this critical aspect of the infrastructure, we are committed to offering complimentary Indexer API services specifically tailored for individual developers who are working on projects for the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Our Indexer API will enable developers to easily query and interact with inscription data, helping streamline the development process for applications that leverage inscriptions on the Bitcoin blockchain. The availability of these resources is a testament to our dedication to fostering a thriving, collaborative community of developers who can contribute to the ongoing evolution and diversification of the Bitcoin network's capabilities.
Extension wallet
We are proud to announce that our Extension Wallet will be designed to offer users and developers free access to inscribe tokens, a feature all the more powerful through the integration of our indexer API services. This strategic implementation will not only enhance the wallet's functionality but also enable the support of various meta protocols, thereby enriching the ecosystem's versatility.
The utility of the Extension Wallet will be further elevated by its compatibility with the cross-chain bridge. Through this seamless connection, users will experience a smooth and intuitive interaction with different Bitcoin Layer 2 (L2) solutions. We believe that Bitcoin L2 should be able to be interacted with the same Bitcoin address, not by the EVM address.
This comprehensive approach will empower both casual users and developers by streamlining their activities across a multitude of protocols, significantly reducing the complexity typically associated with managing assets on multiple layers and chains. By centralizing these innovative features in one user-friendly wallet, we aim to break down technical barriers and cultivate an accessible, more interconnected Bitcoin L2 landscape.
